Updated May 14, 2005

Filmmakers Chris Boebel and Nick Poppy began working on their documentary, Containment: Life After Three Mile Island, in early 1998. They thought the film would be done in time for the 20th anniversary of the accident, in 1999. It was finished in the fall of 2003 - in time for the 25th anniversary of the accident. Sometimes things take longer than you think.

**We are proud to announce that Containment received Best Documentary awards at the ArtsFest Film Festival, the Appalachian Film Festival, and the Putnam Valley Film and Video Festival, and Best Over-All Film at the Quittapahilla Film Festival and the Black Earth Film Festival!

We hope you will get a chance to see Containment at a film festival (see below for more details) or school near you. Please feel free to contact the filmmakers to arrange screenings and talks. Media outlets may also request preview tapes of the film.
